Alamo Heights United Methodist (AHUMC)

AHUMC was a large-scale rebrand project I had the pleasure of working on. The goal of this refresh was to create excitement in the community & welcoming brand. Our goal with this rebrand was to capture the spirit of the church, celebrate its history, & position it for the future in a way that resonates with both current members and newcomers. It was an opportunity to deepen the connection with the congregation, reach new people, & reflect the evolving mission of your community.

Logo & Visual Identity
We created a modern, approachable logo that symbolizes both faith & community. The design blends traditional elements with a contemporary twist, reflecting the church's deep roots while embracing a forward-thinking approach to ministry. The new color palette is warm & inviting, conveying a sense of peace, hope, and unity.

Brand Messaging & Voice
We worked closely with church leadership to develop a clear & consistent messaging strategy that reflects the church's core values. This includes a welcoming, inclusive tone, with a focus on connection, growth, & service. The new voice speaks to both long-time church members & those who may be exploring their faith for the first time.

Website & Digital Presence
The church’s website was redesigned to be more user-friendly, mobile-optimized, & reflective of the new visual identity. It’s now easier than ever for visitors to find information about services, events, & community programs. Integrated digital tools allow for smooth online giving, sermon streaming, & quick access to church updates.

Community & Outreach
A key aspect of the rebrand was to strengthen the church’s presence in the community. The new branding is designed to be flexible for use across a variety of materials—from signage & print to social media & outreach campaigns. The goal is for the church to feel like a living, breathing part of the community, always extending an open invitation to those seeking faith, hope, or connection.
